Angie Miller’s You Set Me Free

Singing an original composition in American Idol was a huge risk but everything turned out different when Angie Miller sang “You Set Me Free" during Hollywood week. That song helped her gain more fans all over the world and the judges were in awe after she sang it. I also bet that most people probably went online to check out who is the composer of the song but unfortunately, they couldn’t find it.

After weeks and probably months of waiting, Angie released the studio version of You Set Me Free and people purchased it in iTunes and everyone especially fans played it 24/7 and maybe on repeat (just like me) to be inspired. Some part of the lyrics was taken from the Bible under Psalms 81.

From the Bible:
“I heard an unknown voice say:
I removed the burdens from their shoulders: their hands were set free from the basket.
In your distress, you called and I rescued you.”

In Angie’s lyrics:
“I heard a voice that’s so unknown.
When I was haunted and alone with this baggage on my back dragging me down   you set me free
When I’m weak you carry me, through the storm you set me free”

Aside from those part, Angie opened our eyes and connect to Him each and everyday of our lives - when we wake up every morning and before going to bed, we should thank Him for we are still alive and if we have challenges in life we should leave it all to Him and just think positively.

Through this song, she changed our lives completely and in the midst of all our burdens, she lifted our spirits up and let us feel His presence for she is an angel in disguise and God is using her to touch our lives and inspire younger generations to be united with Him.

People can't wait for Angie Miller’s upcoming songs and albums that’s for sure :)
