Angela Kristine Miller also known as Angie Miller was a third runner-up in a singing competition called American Idol. How did she make it this far? First of all, this young princess started wowing the judges with her rendition of Mama Knows Best (audition) back in Newark, New Jersey. After that, all else follows. All her performance was flawless and she sang with so much passion especially when she plays the piano and at the same time sing. Wow! Its like you’re in heaven.
When did televiewers started noticing her? American Idol helped her gain fans and way back before her audition she was doing covers like Never Gone (Colton Dixon), Skyscraper (Demi ovate), Titanium (David Guetta) and other songs as well but it was the time when she sang her original composition entitled “You Set Me Free" during Hollywood week that people started noticing her and became mesmerized by her performance.
After that performance of hers, Angie Miller started gaining lots of followers in Twitter, Instagram and other social medias. People - young and old was really rooting for her to be the next American Idol because they saw her capacity as an artist. She was able to make any song as her own and put twists into it. In short, she was a complete package.
During Top 10 week, she performed I Surrender (Celine Dion), Yesterday (Beatles), Shop Around (The Miracles), Bring Me To Life (Evanescence), Anyone Who Had A Heart (Dionne Warwick) and it all came down to the top 6 wherein she performed Love Came Down (Kari Jobe) and it was an outstanding performance. Fans clamored to grab a copy of her version as soon as they heard her sing it on Idol and they also say that Angie is “in it to win it” which is totally true.
However, everything went astray because she was sent home during the top 3. So close yet so far! But that did not stop Angie from doing what she loves best. During the finale, Angie was able to perform with her Idol Jessie J. They sang Domino which was a hit.
One thing, Angie showed the world that if you are able to dream big and work hard for it, anything is possible! :)
